Meet your coach
I believe the best coaching is friendly, clear and immediately useful. You should understand not only what to change, but why it will improve your game.
Coaching pickleball is my passion. I am a Pickleball England Level 1 coach and League Captain at Harrow Pickleball Club, and I have helped introduce more than 500 players to the game. I coach everyone from complete beginners to experienced players looking for smarter shot selection, better positioning and stronger doubles play.
I am also a qualified assessor with the CAVA qualification and hold a Level 3 Award in Education and Training. That teaching background shapes every session: clear explanations, purposeful practice and feedback that is easy to understand and apply.
Tried, tested & recommended
The right paddle depends on how you play. These are my current top three recommendations, with an outstanding-value alternative for recreational players.
My current number-one recommendation: a lively hybrid paddle that blends serious power and pop with a forgiving sweet spot and confident control.
Ask if it suits your gameA strong choice for attacking players who want explosive pace without giving up the softer, more predictable response needed for resets and dinks.
Ask if it suits your gameA premium power paddle with a stable, balanced feel, huge spin potential and a generous sweet spot in both widebody and elongated shapes.

Tried & tested · £80
A full-foam paddle that plays remarkably close to the genuine Boomstik for a fraction of the price. I have personally tested, dissected and compared its construction and performance, and it comes with a cover.
Please note: this clone is not sanctioned for tournament play and does not use Selkirk's InfinGrit surface.
